HLTA - Grade D - £26,918 – £29,616 (FTE)/£18,349 - £20,188 (actual salary) pa

A vacancy has arisen within the college for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant attached to the Maths & IT Faculty. We are looking to appoint a skilled and enthusiastic person to support students in KS3 and KS4 with particular emphasis on Maths and IT. You will be required to assist in the support and integration of students, some of who, may have special education needs. You will play a key role in ensuring students learn as effectively as possible. As the role will involve supporting students with barriers to learning, the successful applicant will need to have a sound understanding of progression in these subjects.
Candidates should have good basic literacy and numeracy skills (to GCSE level grade C or above), ideally educated to degree level, and be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
