Job Introduction
St Peter’s is a vibrant school with a positive culture, and has an excellent reputation for delivering superb pastoral care. We are currently looking to appoint either a motivated, highly skilled HLTA, or an experienced LSA looking to undertake fully supported HLTA training and development, to join our Key Stage 2 team. The successful candidate will provide targeted support within the classroom, as well as timely interventions with individuals or small groups across the year group. They will also be required to provide occasional short term cover for absence, but we typically keep this within their year team.

- Have good subject knowledge in English and Maths
- Show initiative and be prepared to try new things
- Understand confidentiality, safety and safeguarding
- Have current experience with the primary age group
- Have excellent behaviour management skills
- Have delivered confident and effective small group or whole class teaching
- Be committed to raising standards and improving progress for all children
