Job/Person Summary
Saint James Primary School is a large three form primary school. The school was awarded ‘Good with outstanding features’ by Ofsted. This position could be very attractive for a teacher who loves being with children but wants to get a better work life balance! Alternatively, this position is suitable for a qualified HLTA. We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible and would consider someone for a part time vacancy.
We are seeking to appoint a confident, flexible and well-organised person to join our friendly and hard-working team of four HLTA’s.
You will be required to teach whole classes across the school throughout your working week, including covering the absence of a teacher. The successful candidate will have a positive and caring manner, and have excellent communication skills. You will need to have the flexibility to teach classes as required and be committed to providing the children in your care with the best learning experience possible.
In return we can offer a happy, friendly school with caring, well-behaved pupils and a committed and dedicated team of staff.
Less working days would be considered for the right candidate.
Application Procedure
Visits to the school are encouraged - please contact Mrs Wight on 02380 900995 or email adminoffice@st-james-westend.hants.sch.uk to arrange a visit.
For more information regarding this position and for an application form please visit our website www.st-james-westend.org.uk. CVs will not be accepted.
Saint James' Church of England Primary School, West End and Hampshire County Council are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All successful candidates will be subject to Disclosure and Barring Service checks along with other relevant employment checks.
