Hours: Ideally 12:00–3:30pm daily (flexible for the right candidate) 17.5 hrs per week
Start date: January 2026
Salary: Band D FTE £27779 - £30564 (depending on experience and qualifications) Actual Salary (£11268.98 - 12398.75)
Contract: Term time only 39 weeks (44.6 Paid Weeks) This is a Fixed Term Position due to be reviewed end of August 2026 with a view to extend.

About the Role
We are seeking a relational, motivated and adaptable HLTA to join our skilled support team. This is a part-time position, ideally covering 12:00–3:30pm each day, but we can be flexible for the right candidate.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Class cover(both planned and ad-hoc)
- Delivering high-quality booster sessions, working with children on a 1:1 basis or small groups to deepen understanding and raise attainment.
- Supporting pupils withSEND and EHCP targets
- Working collaboratively with teachers and colleagues to ensure every child thrives
- Promote and encourage positive behaviours
- Follow guidance from outside agencies to support the needs of the children
- Encourage engagement and in turn increase outcomes for the children
- Build positive and nurturing relationships with the children to overcome barriers
- Deliver learning interventions, under guidance from the SENDCO and Class Teacher.
- Ensuringprofessionalism and confidentiality at all times.
- Maintainpositive relationships with staff and the wider community
- To carry out such other duties as may be reasonablyallocatedwithin the remit of the post.

- Has experience supporting pupils withadditionalneeds (or is keen to develop this)
- Is flexible,proactiveand reflective
- Can extend learning and promote inclusion
- Has HLTA qualification or equivalent experience and willing to complete training
