Inclusion Hub Lead Teacher
This is an exciting opportunity to join Potley Hill Primary School as we continue to embed our core values of Dream Big, Aim High, and Make a Difference across our whole school community.
We are seeking a dedicated, passionate, and inspirational practitioner to lead our brand-new Inclusion Hub. Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, you will shape and develop this provision, champion inclusive practice and deliver high-quality teaching to pupils within the base.
About the role
- Lead the development and delivery of our new Inclusion Hub, ensuring it reflects our school values and commitment to inclusive education.
- Teach small groups of pupils in a nurturing, supportive environment, while facilitating successful integration into mainstream classrooms.
- Design and deliver a therapeutic and personalised curriculum, using trauma-informed approaches to prepare children for the challenges they face.
- Collaborate with the Assistant Headteacher to ensure inclusion remains at the heart of everything we do.
- Build strong partnerships with parents, carers and external professionals.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is an experienced and reflective practitioner with a strong background in supporting pupils with special educational needs, particularly social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.
- Holds QTS and has at least five years of teaching experience (essential).
- Has training or experience in trauma-informed approaches or similar practices (essential).
- Holds or is working towards, a SENCo qualification (NPQ, SENCo or NASENCo) (desirable).
