Inclusion Hub Lead Teacher

This is an exciting opportunity to join Potley Hill Primary School as we continue to embed our core values of Dream Big, Aim High, and Make a Difference across our whole school community.

We are seeking a dedicated, passionate, and inspirational practitioner to lead our brand-new Inclusion Hub. Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, you will shape and develop this provision, champion inclusive practice and deliver high-quality teaching to pupils within the base.

About the role

Lead the development and delivery of our new Inclusion Hub, ensuring it reflects our school values and commitment to inclusive education.
Teach small groups of pupils in a nurturing, supportive environment, while facilitating successful integration into mainstream classrooms.
Design and deliver a therapeutic and personalised curriculum, using trauma-informed approaches to prepare children for the challenges they face.
Collaborate with the Assistant Headteacher to ensure inclusion remains at the heart of everything we do.
Build strong partnerships with parents, carers and external professionals.

We are looking for someone who:

Is an experienced and reflective practitioner with a strong background in supporting pupils with special educational needs, particularly social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.
Holds QTS and has at least five years of teaching experience (essential).
Has training or experience in trauma-informed approaches or similar practices (essential).
Holds or is working towards, a SENCo qualification (NPQ, SENCo or NASENCo) (desirable).
