Inclusion Legislative Administration Coordinator

The Inclusion Provision operates as part of a wider curriculum offering support for students who are unable to access the mainstream curriculum across 3 provision rooms and interventions.  We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Inclusion Legislative Administrator to work alongside the Senior SENDCO and SENDCO to drive the provision forward and ensure compliance with regards to access arrangements, EHCNA’s, EHCP’s and annual reviews. We are looking for someone to build strong relationships with students, work with parents, other staff members and external agencies to develop clear systems and processes for all legislative aspects of SEND and inclusion.

Your role will be a pivotal role within the department. This will include:

  • Coordinating and organising all of the annual reviews across the school
  • Collating the teacher evidence from across the school, parental views and support with rewriting the targets and provision 
  • Attending the annual reviews, taking notes and uploading the evidence
  • Supporting the SENDCO and Senior SENDCO with the completion of EHCP consultations from the local authorities
  • Collecting evidence for and completing the necessary paperwork for access arrangements, including the collation and collection of evidence to support access arrangements for GCSE examinations. 
  • Collating of evidence for the EHCNA application process and communicating with a range of stakeholders to ensure that the strongest possible evidence is submitted 
  • Supporting the SENDCO and Senior SENDCO to record the graduated response onto student records and to keep provision maps accurate.
