St Alban’s Church of England Aided Primary School is a very happy, inclusive and successful one-form entry school in Havant with a strong Christian ethos and high standards where every child is ‘inspired to make a difference in God’s world with excellence and love’.
We are seeking an excellent practitioner to start on 1st January 2025 on a permanent, basis, working 3 days a week, who:
- has the SENCO accreditation or the desire to work towards one
- is a qualified teacher with sound knowledge of the SEND code of practice
- can lead a ‘whatever it takes’ approach to inclusion across the school to raise aspiration and achievement
- is committed to getting the best outcomes for all pupils
- has a comprehensive understanding of children with additional needs and child development
- is a reflective practitioner and is committed to delivering excellent learning for all children with high expectations of achievement and behaviour
- has the ability to plan and work strategically with other members of staff to ensure the right provision is in place for our pupils
- has excellent organisational skills
- can effectively, and sensitively, communicate with all stakeholders
- will support, be sensitive to and promote the Christian ethos of the school
