Junior Site Assistant

Grade 3A-D FTE £25,186 - £25,992 (dependent on experience)

Full Time 37 hours per week, including varied hours and holiday cover for evenings and weekends as required (on a rota) 52 weeks per year (minus annual leave plus bank holidays)

Start: As soon as possible


We are seeking to appoint an individual who will be an integral part of the school community. 
Our team of Site Staff are a close-knit team, who pride themselves in offering an excellent service to the whole school community, as well as delivering a high standard throughout the buildings and grounds. 
If you possess a polite and courteous manner and have the ability to multi-task, this could be the role for you. 

This role offers full training and therefore willingness to learn is just as important as experience.


Main Duties

 •    To maintain all buildings and grounds to a high standard to provide a safe, efficient, and effective learning and working environment for students and staff

. •    Facilitate the use of the site for school events and external users  

•    Health and Safety management 

 •    Site cleanliness 

 •    Defect and fault reporting

Bohunt School in Liphook was judged in the top 20 of all Comprehensive Schools nationally in The Times Parent Power Good Schools table in 2024 and the school has received national coverage for a variety of innovative initiatives.  The School is located in attractive, open country on the edge of Liphook (40 miles from London) with easy access to the A3 between Guildford and Portsmouth. Bohunt School opened a new Sixth Form in purpose built accommodation in 2017, offering a variety of A Level courses to students. Our Sixth Form is fast becoming popular with students from the local area, as well as students from further afield.
