Job Introduction

Pinewood Infant School is a vibrant, supportive and inclusive mainstream school set in beautiful grounds. We have two Resourced Provisions: one for Speech Language and Communication Needs and one for Autism. We are part of a federation with Guillemont Junior  School, providing additional opportunities.

We invite applications from experienced teachers or early career teachers. ECTs will benefit from excellent induction and mentoring support.

We are seeking to appoint a passionate, inspirational KS1 teacher to start in April 2026 to join our team in our brilliant school, where there is never a dull day. This post is a permanent role. This is an exciting opportunity if you aspire for excellence and thrive on the challenge of providing the very best for all children; to plan and teach inspiring lessons, through an exciting curriculum.

  • has experience of teaching the Key Stage One Curriculum.
  • has high expectations of learning and behaviour.
  • is a positive team member who can work collaboratively.
  • has energy, enthusiasm and the ability to be flexible.
  • sets high expectations for themselves and works hard to achieve them.
  • wants to develop and grow in an inclusive, supportive school.
