The current post is located at Elson Infant School. Elson Infant School is at an exciting stage in its journey and development. We are an outward looking, popular and successful infant school based in the Elson area of Gosport. Our most recent Ofsted was in March 2024, and we were rated good in all areas with a special mention for the work we do around supporting children's development. We are passionate about our school and community and are always looking for ways to develop and bring in fresh ideas. We pride ourselves on our inclusivity and our attachment and trauma informed practice, for which we hold a gold accreditation. We want the very best for every child ensuring, that all pupils have access to high quality teaching and opportunities that will support them in being ready for the next stage in their primary journey. Wellbeing is a priority for all at our federation. Our vision of “Together we Shine” is at the heart of all we do.
The role will be working as a Learning Support Assistant within KS1. specifically working 1:1 with a child with an EHCP. Further details will be shared at interview. The role will be under the direction of the class teacher and year leader.
