KS1 Teacher

Job Introduction

Summary

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated KS1 class teacher for September 2026 at our ‘excellent’ Church of England Infant School (SIAMS October 2019). This is an excellent opportunity for a practitioner with high expectations to join our happy and successful school team. This role is suitable for a dedicated teacher who is ready to grow as a leader and contribute to the strategic development of our school community. Set on the edge of the New Forest, we offer a friendly and supportive staff, enthusiastic children who are very keen to learn and committed Teaching Assistants.


Candidates should:

  • have a passion for teaching;
  • be motivated;
  • have high expectations and the ability to inspire learners;
  • have recent successful experience of teaching infant aged children in mixed age classes;
  • have evidence of teaching that is highly effective;
  • be proactive;
  • have excellent interpersonal skills;
  • be keen to lead the curriculum for a core subject (English/Maths);
  • have a desire to develop a leadership role.
