KS1 or KS2 Teacher

Job Introduction

Be Brave. Be Bold. Be Part of Nightingale

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Nightingale Primary School due to one of our valued job share teachers moving on to a new leadership position and our Assistant Headteacher stepping into a new role with the Local Authority.  As a result, we are seeking a passionate and committed full-time class teacher to join our team.

At this stage, we are still finalising which key stage the role will be based in and we invite candidates to be brave and apply regardless.  What matters most to us is your mindset, enthusiasm and belief in the power of pedagogy.

We are proud to have a flexible, highly skilled teaching team who work confidently across the school.  This is possible due to their deep understanding of our curriculum, their collaborative spirit and their commitment to doing what’s best for our children.  We want to welcome someone who shares this outlook — someone ready to contribute, learn and continue to grow with us.

Whether you’re just starting your teaching career or already stepping into leadership, we have the capacity and drive to help you flourish.  We support Early Career Teachers through structured development and nurture talent in those who are ready to lead.

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Enthusiastic, energetic and a real team player
  • Naturally positive with a “can do” attitude
  • Passionate about education and committed to making a difference

It’s worth noting that we are a true Read Write Inc. (RWI) school — the programme is embedded into our practice with fidelity and care.  Full training will be provided for the right candidate, as part of our commitment to high-quality teaching and learning.

Most importantly, you must share our commitment to our Vision and Values, which underpin everything we do — from pupil progress to supporting friendships in the playground.  You can read more about our vision on our website and we encourage all applicants to take a look before applying.

If you're ready to inspire to aspire — we’d love to hear from you.
