KS1/KS2 Class Teachers - suitable for ECTs

Job Introduction

Are you looking to begin/develop your career in an outstanding school with a supportive, experienced team? Are you passionate about helping children to experience success and believe in themselves?

Whiteley Primary School are seeking to appoint two enthusiastic and creative teachers to join our large, friendly team from September 2025. Both positions are permanent, and we are particularly seeking to appoint ECTs or those in the early stages of their career. We have flexibility regarding year groups, but at least one position will be for KS1 initially. The other position will be for anywhere in the primary age range, dependent on the successful candidate’s experience.

We can offer

-Motivated children who are keen to learn and who will relish the opportunities you plan for them;

- A supportive team - as a 3-form entry school, year group colleagues are able to plan together, sharing expertise and experiences;

- Planned professional development, appropriate for your career stage, making the most of opportunities for peer-to-peer support and team-teaching within our large team.

-  Fantastic school grounds which include an all-weather pitch, adventure playgrounds, basketball court, woodland areas, pond, stream, and gardening areas - we encourage our staff to make use of these facilities to enhance the curriculum.

We are looking for

- A teacher who is passionate about helping every individual in their class to experience success and believe in themselves;

- A teacher who is confident in the core subjects, but also who has an interest or passion for one or more curriculum areas, willing and able to develop this into strong subject leadership in the future;

- A good team player, interested in sharing and developing their expertise;

- Someone who is willing to contribute to the wider life of the school, including our extra-curricular provision.

Further details can be found in the application pack which can be downloaded from the school website (from 31st March) or email e.binks@whiteley.hants.sch.uk

We also encourage visits to the school to find out more about our vision and values. Please contact the school office to book on to a tour. If you require any further details about the position, please contact the school office.
