KS2 LSA Learning Support Assistant 8:30-1:20pm

Job Introduction

We're looking for a hard-working, passionate and dedicated adult to work alongside our friendly and supportive team. We are looking to take on an LSA to support children who require 1-1 support for a variety of needs, as well as general support within classes and year groups.

At St Mark’s, we aim to secure outstanding outcomes for all of our pupils, and so are looking for an LSA who:

  • has a passion for working with children, and helping them improve both in character and in qualification;

  • knows and is interested in how children learn;

  • uses their initiative to bring the best out in children;

  • knows the importance of keeping children safe;

  • has high expectations for themselves and their pupils;

  • is a team player, able to inspire and work in partnership with staff, parents and pupils.

This role is likely to be in Upper Key Stage 2, although we are looking for an LSA who is able to demonstrate a range of skills and work with a variety of children. The role may change during the year, dependant on the needs of the pupils and school. The role is for a 1-year, fixed term contract until August 2025. Whilst the role is paid at a B3 grade, we will extend to C range for candidates with the right experience.
