KS2 Teacher

Job Introduction

KS2 Teacher

Initially fixed term until end of Summer 25

Manor Field Junior school has an ethos which is rooted in the United Nations Convention for the Rights of the Child and we pride ourselves on the relationships that we build between our pupils, parents, staff and governors.

This is an exciting time to join our school as we currently are in the process of federating with Manor Field Infant School. A number of staff are already working between both schools as we further develop our already strong relationship. At this time, we are looking for an experienced KS2 teacher who is happy teaching in any KS2 year group as we increase our capacity to release key members of staff to work across our federation. This is fixed term initially for the remainder of this academic year as we develop our shared staff structure.

Your mornings will be spent teaching key groups to help promote and accelerate the progress of our learners and the afternoons will vary as you release teachers to work on development priorities. If you think this sounds like a role for you, please come and meet our children and staff and see what makes our school such a special place to work!

Visits to our school are warmly welcomed and highly recommended. To arrange an informal visit or to receive an application pack, please contact, Gemma Coe in the school office either by email: admin@mfjs.co.uk or by phone: 01256 329826.

Applications will be reviewed as they are received and interviewed if suitable.  We reserve the right to close the vacancy at any time.

Safer Recruitment

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We will ensure that all our recruitment and selection practices reflect this commitment. All successful candidates will be subject to Disclosure and Barring Service checks along with other relevant employment checks.
