Job Introduction

KS2 Class Teacher Vacancy

Join our fun, friendly, and ambitious school community!

Are you a passionate and enthusiastic teacher ready to make a real difference? We are looking for a dedicated KS2 Class Teacher to join our supportive and welcoming team.

Our school is a place where children feel valued, included, and inspired to achieve their very best—both academically and personally. Our pupils are grateful, kind, and full of potential. They thrive in an environment where high expectations go hand in hand with warmth, encouragement, and a strong sense of belonging.

We are proud of our inclusive ethos and strong school values, which underpin everything we do. We believe in helping every child become not only the best learner they can be, but also the best person they can be.

You’ll be joining a wonderful team of committed staff who work collaboratively to ensure every child succeeds. If you’re looking to be part of something special and want to grow professionally within a supportive environment, we would love to hear from you.

Visits are warmly welcomed—a member of our senior leadership team would be delighted to show you around and answer any questions you may have. Please contact the school office, 01264 394777, to arrange a time to visit or should you wish to discuss the position in more detail.

We look forward to meeting you!

Application Procedure

Applications can only be accepted on a Hampshire County Council application form and should be emailed to rdevereux@knightsenham-jun.hants.sch.uk to be received by 5pm on Friday 16th May 2025. We anticipate the interviews will take place week commencing 19th May 2025.

We reserve the right to close a vacancy earlier than the advertised date if we receive applications that meet the criteria. Prior to the interview, an online search will be conducted to identify any past or current incidents or issues that might affect your suitability to work with children and undertake this role.  This is in line with guidance in Keeping Children Safe in Education.  Please note this online search will be carried out only on publicly available information and be limited to issues relating to your suitability to work with children and/or in a school environment. Issues that arise will not automatically bar your employment at this school.

Safer Recruitment

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We will ensure that all our recruitment and selection practices reflect this commitment. All successful candidates will be subject to Disclosure and Barring Service checks along with other relevant employment checks.
