We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative Science teacher with a passion for learning, teaching and student progress. Harrow Way Community School are committed to the highest standards in teaching and learning.

You will be a proactive member of a small team of lead practitioners whose role is to improve teaching and learning in the department and across the wider school community.

The Role
 As a Lead Practitioner, you will:

  • Be an outstanding classroom practitioner with a strong passion for the education of children;
  • Have the vision to drive high standards in teaching, learning, and assessment across all key stages;
  • Coach teachers to enhance their teaching with ambitious and lessons, ensuring lessons remain both rigorous and inspiring;
  • Have a track record of inspiring and motivating both staff and students to achieve their full potential;
  • Be a pivotal part of our team, contributing to the development of our teaching staff.

 We are looking for a motivated individual who:

  • Is an outstanding teacher of science
  • Has the ability to inspire and develop others.
  • Is ambitious, proactive, and ready to take on new challenges.
  • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
