Learning Support Assistant (EYFS)

Job Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated, experienced and passionate EYFS Learning Support Assistant to join our warm and welcoming team. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the early stages of a child's education within a nurturing and community-focused environment. The children are looking for:

  • Someone who is kind and says yes to lots of things
  • Someone who is not too hard on pupils because sometimes we struggle with things
  • Someone who can give us lots of ideas and questions to do
  • Someone who can write on the whiteboard and is strong and fast
  • Someone with a face that looks happy and who always says yes to playing with us

Candidates should have Maths and English qualifications to GCSE grace 4/C or above or their equivalent.

  • Have proven experience working within the Early Years Foundation Stage

  • Who is able to adapt learning to remove the barriers and ensure it is accessible
  • Who is able to be flexible but always maintains high standards
  • Who has a clear understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding procedures
  • Is supportive of our values and ethos as a Church of England Primary School.
