Job Introduction
Support us in making Hampshire a better place for Children and Young People
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Primary Behaviour Service (PBS) in Hampshire, who provide a service to mainstream primary schools in the Hart, Rushmoor and East Hants area. The service works in partnership with schools and families with an emphasis on early intervention during the primary phase to raise the standard of pupil behaviour in Hampshire.
This role will be entirely focused on supporting the current PBS Team in delivering in reach provision at The Hive in Aldershot and, at times as required, The Harewood Centre in Basingstoke. The successful candidate will have the ability to work between the two centres at short notice. The role will involve 4 days in class with our small groups of pupils with SEMH needs. The working pattern is 9.00am-3.00pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
You will be motivated and enthusiastic with strong skills in managing challenging behaviour. This is an excellent opportunity to develop skills and gain greater experience with scope for progression. You must have some experience of working in school settings with families and young children with additional needs, where behaviour has been an issue and you have been able to demonstrate resilience and reflection.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a formal interview process.
