We are seeking to appoint an experienced learning support assistant who has a passion for working with children in a primary school. Experience in EYFS and SEN is desired but not essential. It is important for the successful candidate to show empathy, resilience, initiative, dedication to our pupils and a good sense of humour.

- A good sense of humour

- The ability to work independently and pro-actively
- Be patient, calm, well organised and understanding
- Have energy, commitment and enthusiasm
- The ability to build positive relationships with children
- Experience in SEND preferable but not essential
Duties
- Work with individuals or groups of children, assisting in adapting resources/tasks to enable pupils to access learning (in conjunction with the teacher)
- Help implement lesson plans
- Assist with testing and assessment
- Review progress against learning intervention programmes
- Work alongside outside agencies and implementing advice
- Some playtime/lunchtime supervision
