Job/Person Summary

We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and caring Learning Support Assistant to join our highly committed team.
 
 This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference to children's lives by supporting their learning, development and wellbeing. Working closely with teachers and other professionals, you will help pupils access the curriculum, build confidence and achieve success.

 

The successful candidate will need to:

  • Have a sense of humour and be a positive influence for our children’s learning 
  • Have high expectations of learning. 
  • Be able to develop good working relationships with children
  • Be patient and calm
  • Have the ability to work with the class teacher and support a child to access a range of learning
  • Have previous experience of working with children on a 1:1 basis
  • Prepare appropriate resources to meet the needs of the child
  • Be able to work as part of a team
  • Have 5 GCSEs including Maths and English
  • Able to work independently with initiative
  • Be competent in the use of ICT
