Learning Support Assistant Level 2 - Early Years/KS1

Job Introduction

We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and caring LSA to join our amazing team to support our children. This will be a varied role and we are looking for candidates with flexibility and commitment who would love to be part of our Warren Park family. 

The successful candidate will work alongside teachers, LSAs, the SEND team and outside agencies to develop and deliver personalised learning, supporting daily routines and transitions.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has ideally previously been an LSA and worked with young children in Early Years/Key Stage 1
  • Is proactive in learning and has a good understanding of how children learn
  • Has an empathetic understanding of children’s emotions and behaviour and actively seeks to remove barriers to learning
  • Is calm, positive and resilient
  • Works well as part of a team and with other adults
  • Is organised, flexible and a good communicator
  • Is committed to continuous professional development
  • Has Maths and English qualifications GCSE grade C and above (or equivalent)
