Learning Support Assistant with Middy Supervisory Assistant Duties
Job/person summary
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant with Midday Supervisory Assistant Duties to join our team and to support children within their classroom and through their lunch break. The role will entail supporting children in their learning, help the teacher to implement lesson plans and provide feedback to the teacher. You will need to be committed to supporting and developing children’s learning and building upon the relationships already in place within the classroom.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is kind and caring, can nurture and motivate children.
- Has resilience and is enthusiastic about working with children.
- Is a team player and has excellent communication skills.
- Has recent experience of working with children.
- Has Maths and English GCSE or equivalent and is computer literate.

Contract/Hours: Permanent, Full Time, Term Time Only
Salary Type: Support Staff
Salary Details: LSA Grade B, MDSA Grade A - salary will be pro rata
Salary FTE: LSA £24,796, MDSA £24,521
Hours of Work: LSA 26.25 hours per week, MDSA 3.75 hours per week
Location of Role: Denmead Junior School
