  • 31.25 hours per week – Monday- Friday 08:45-15:30
  • Grade B – Grade C depending on experience (£24,796 - £25,186 FTE)

Bartley C of E Junior School is a friendly junior school on the edge of the New Forest. 

We are seeking to appoint a caring and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team and make a difference to our pupils. Our dedicated team are committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

  • promotes inclusion and has high expectations for all pupils;
  • is patient, calm and resilient when supporting children who may experience barriers to learning;

  • is committed to inclusion, equality and safeguarding; and
  • is willing to undertake training and continue developing their practice.
  • has a positive approach, be calm and caring 

 

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to: 


  • preparing interventions 
  • assisting the class teacher and SENDCO ensuring that pupils have access to the curriculum
  • delivering small group interventions 
  • helping implement lesson plans
  • break and lunchtime supervision 
  • supporting children with pupil behaviour needs
