What Will the Role Involve?
You will work closely with our class teachers, SENDCo and wider staff team to support children both academically and emotionally.
The role is likely to include:
- Providing tailored support for individual pupils, including 1:1 support where required
- Working with small groups of children to develop their learning skills and confidence
- Supporting children with additional needs to access learning successfully
- Encouraging positive behaviour, independence and resilience
- Helping create a purposeful, nurturing and engaging learning environment
- Building positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
You will also undertake a one-hour Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant role, supporting children during lunch and playtimes.
Additional Opportunities Available
For candidates looking for additional hours, there may also be opportunities to work within our successful Breakfast Club and After School Club provision.

- Demonstrates excellent communication skills
- Understands the importance of safeguarding and confidentiality
Essential Qualifications
- GCSE English and Mathematics Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent)
