Job Introduction
We have vacancies for two dedicated, caring, and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants (Level 2) to join our supportive school team. These positions are being offered as fixed-term contracts to cover maternity leave. For the right candidate, there may be the opportunity for the role to become permanent in the future, subject to the needs of the school.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work in partnership with teachers to support pupils' learning, development, and wellbeing. The Mark Way School is a special school and is committed to providing our students with an ambitious curriculum and seeking the best life chances for them. We are a very dedicated and hardworking team, who always put the children first.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting individual pupils and small groups with their learning activities.
- Helping pupils remain focused and engaged in lessons.
- Supporting children with additional learning, behavioural, or special educational needs.
- Monitoring and recording pupil progress and providing constructive feedback.
- Assisting with assessment activities and curriculum delivery.
- Building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
