Salary – C Grade – Full Time Equivalent £26,018 at C1
(Actual annual pro rata salary is £18,797 at C1)
31.25 hours per week, 39 weeks per year - Term Time Only
Fixed Term initially to 31 August 2027
Park Community School’s primary campus is looking for an enthusiastic, patient, and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly primary school team. In this role, you will work closely with class teachers to support pupils’ learning, build their confidence, and help them reach their full potential. Early Years experience is desirable.
What you will do:
- Support individual pupils or small groups with their reading, writing, and maths
- Assist children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to access the curriculum
- Help create a positive, safe, and engaging classroom environment
- Work alongside teachers to monitor, record, and report on pupil progress
- Encourage independence, social skills, and emotional wellbeing.
As a Learning Support Assistant at Park Community School’s primary campus, you will have the chance to support children individually and in small groups, joining a team of committed people enabling pupils to achieve their dreams.
Usual hours are 8.30am to 3.15pm, Monday to Friday (requests for flexibility will be considered).
