Red Barn Community Primary School is looking for an enthusiastic, caring and committed Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our friendly and supportive team.

The Role:
Working alongside the class teacher and wider school team, you will support children with their learning, wellbeing and development within the classroom and wider school environment.
No two days are the same! This is a varied and rewarding role which may include:
- Supporting individuals and small groups of children with their learning.
- Helping children to access lessons and develop their independence.
- Supporting children with additional needs.
- Delivering targeted learning activities and interventions.
- Encouraging positive behaviour, confidence and resilience.
- Supporting children's social and emotional development.
- Helping to create an inclusive, stimulating and positive classroom environment.
As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to help shape learning experiences that are creative, inclusive and meaningful.
Experience of supporting a child with diabetes or other medical needs would be an advantage, although this is not essential, as appropriate training and support will be provided.

- Previous experience of working with children in a school or educational setting would be beneficial.
