Fair Oak Junior School is a magical school to work in with lovely children who are curious about the world around them and who love to learn new things. You would be joining an excellent staff team who enjoy working together within a positive learning culture to provide fantastic opportunities for our children. We are establishing a successful coaching system that supports individuals to develop their practice and provide opportunities for our staff to work alongside others. Our positive learning culture and teamwork are strengths of the school. Please look on our website and Instagram page to find out more about our Fair Oak Family.

- Have high expectations of themselves and the people they work with.
- Have a positive attitude and be keen to improve their own practice.
- Have a desire to make a difference to the lives of the children we work with.
- Have emotional intelligence and a sense of fun!
This position would be ideal for someone who has an aspiration of developing into a teacher through the SCITT programme in the future or someone who has been a class teacher but who is not interested in working in this role currently. It would equally suit someone who is new to primary education but has the ability to form and maintain fantastic relationships with children and staff alike and a desire to learn.
In return, we can offer you the opportunity to:
- Work in a positive environment focused on pupil and staff well-being, delivering good progress and high standards of achievement and behaviour through a consistently good quality of education.
- Work alongside the Headteacher and other leaders, both within and beyond school, to develop your own teaching skills.
- Teach motivated children who are keen to develop their own learning and demonstrate exceptional learning behaviours.
- Work within a school community that is proud of its achievements and focused on further developing the quality of education for all.
If you are passionate about making a difference to the lives of children and have the ability to inspire them; if you believe in professional development and want to support that development in others whilst continuing to challenge and further your own thinking and practice; if you work successfully in partnership with others and are an enthusiastic team player, who would like the opportunity to work alongside committed, highly motivated staff, we would love to hear from you.
