Contract/Hours: 28.75hours

Salary Details: Grade B/C, scale is dependent upon experience 

Hours of Work: 8.30am – 3.15am, 5 days per week, term time plus one week

Location of Role: Merton Infant School

 

We are looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and flexible Learning Support Assistant to join our hardworking and friendly team.  

The successful candidate will work in partnership with the class teacher to support the needs of individual children, small groups and the whole class.

We are seeking applicants who:

  • Are committed to the highest possible levels of achievement for every child
  • Have a relevant childcare qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) and have worked in an LSA role previously
  • GCSE Maths and English, Grade C or above
  • Have excellent team work skills
  • Are able to work under the direction of the class teacher and senior leaders but can also show initiative
  • Have the patience and the imagination to help and inspire our children with their learning
  • Have positive behaviour management skills
  • A good sense of humour
  • Have a strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and confidentiality
