Salary Details:          Grade B, Step 2 £17,090.88 (FTE £24,027.00)

Hours of work:          30 hours per week (to include Wednesday after-school staff training), 40 weeks per year; 8.45am – 3.00pm

Job/Person Summary

Glenwood School is a Local Authority Special School within the boundary of Hampshire County Council.   It provides a secondary education for pupils with an Education Health Care Plan for Special Educational Needs which fall within the moderate learning difficulties range plus some with more severe learning difficulties.  This includes pupils with Speech and Language difficulties, social communication difficulties and autism.

We are a forward-thinking school who want to attract passionate and committed staff to join our dynamic team, ensuring the very best outcomes for our pupils.

We have vacancies for classroom-based roles, starting as soon as possible, supporting pupils individually or in groups across the curriculum together with some playground supervision duties. Part-time applications may be considered – please indicate on your application form.

The roles offer an induction programme along with training in a wide range of areas including Special Needs and Safeguarding.  They also offer the opportunity to work in a rewarding environment as part of a supportive team with progression and development opportunities.
