Hours of work:   Part-time (31.25hrs per week, 8.30-3.15pm), Term Time Only

Location of Role:   Endeavour Primary School, required to work across King and Kirk Campus

 

Job/Person Summary

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, positive and proactive person to join our fantastic team. You will be an integral part of the school in ensuring our children are at the heart of everything we do. Working alongside the class teacher to best meet the needs of our children, your role will involve small group work, 1-1 support, school trips and playground and lunchtime duties.

The successful candidate will also be supporting pupils with Special Education Needs to access learning. The candidate will be passionate about supporting children and helping them to develop independence. They will be calm, resilient and flexible in their approach to working within a team to support pupils in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.

The role will include:

  • To meet and greet pupils and to support the transition into school
  • To build a strong and trusting relationship with the pupils so they feel happy and safe
  • To support pupils in all aspects of their learning
  • To support pupils to build relationships with other pupils and staff
  • To support pupils to build their emotional well-being and resilience
  • Small group work, both in and out of class
  • Lunchtime and break time duties
