Learning Support Assistant

Job Introduction

Medstead CofE Primary school is a thriving single entry village school with a Resource Provision for the Deaf. We are looking to appoint a cheerful and optimistic person to join a well-motivated and enthusiastic school team.

We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to support our children in their development and learning.

The successful candidate will have:

An interest in children and the ability to motivate and inspire as well as adjust differentiated tasks to meet the needs of the individual and good behaviour management skills.

The enthusiasm and creativity to ensure the highest possible standards of pupil achievement, personal development and well-being are achieved.

Candidates need to have or be willing to be trained to work with children with SEN.

Effective communication skills with the class teacher, parents and staff across the school.

A desire to work as part of a team, committing fully to agreed priorities, adhering to school policies and supporting Christian ethos of the school.
