Job Introduction
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and skilled Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly team of hard working and dedicated staff. We require someone with experience of working with a variety of different groups of children.
The successful candidate will:
- Work with small groups of children within the classroom
- Deliver targeted learning and interventions for individuals and groups of pupils
The successful candidate should:
- Have a good standard of general education (GSCE grades A-C in English and Maths)
- Have some understanding of the various Special Educational Needs within a school
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be able to support the class teacher in the delivery of learning activities for individuals or groups of children
- Have an understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding

Working hours: 8:45 – 3:20 Monday to Friday, term time only
HCC Support staff grade B/C depending upon experience (hourly rate £12.85 - £13.60)
