Job/Person Summary
We are looking to appoint two keen, friendly, caring and enthusiastic people to join our lunchtime team. The successful candidates we appoint will always put the needs of our children first and maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality. You will work as part of our established team to ensure that the children are safe, secure and in a caring and happy environment. The successful candidate will have the pleasure of working with our amazing, enthusiastic and polite children.
All staff at Locks Heath Infant School live and breathe our shared Learning Values, continually ‘Seeking to find out’ how to improve their own performance as well as ‘Working Together’ to support and challenge each other to improve. The post would be suitable for someone with a ‘Never Giving Up’ attitude and someone who is passionate about raising standards for all children.

Your duties will include:
- Supervising children while they are eating lunch, encouraging good manners and supporting healthy eating.
- Engaging with the children and enhancing their play.
- Ensuring all children are safe, happy and well behaved during the lunchtime period.
- Supervising and helping with children on the playground and in the classroom.
- Ensuring that lunchtimes are a happy time for all involved and managing any issues in a positive, relational and thoughtful way.
