Job Introduction
We have a vacancy in our friendly and hardworking lunchtime team. We are looking for a calm, caring, enthusiastic and pro-active person who enjoys working with children.
The role of a Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant is to supervise children throughout the lunchtime period by:
* Supporting our children in the dining hall, promoting good manners and healthy eating
* Ensuring our children's safety, welfare and positive behaviour
* Making lunchtimes a happy and fun period, through play activities on the playground or in the classrooms during wet plays
* Assisting with associated duties, e.g. cleaning up of spillages
The successful candidate will:
* Ensure confidentiality and give due regard to safeguarding
* Be part of a team and communicate positively with children and other adults
* Be consistent in promoting good behaviour and the values of our school
* Have patience and a good sense of humour
* Be willing to undertake training as required
