Job Introduction
Due to the retirement of a long-serving Lunchtime Supervisor, we are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and friendly individual to join our dedicated lunchtime team and help ensure our children are happy, healthy, and safe during this important part of the school day.
Main duties will include:
- Supervising children in the dinner hall and outside on our playground and field as well as in the classroom during wet lunch breaks
- Encouraging positive play by leading a range of playground games, interacting and listening to the children in your care
- Administering basic First Aid (training will be given)
- Being aware of health and safety to help ensure a safe environment for everyone
The successful applicant will ideally be:

- able to positively support children and encourage them to eat their lunch
- focused on promoting healthy eating
- committed to ensuring the safety and welfare of children at all times

- aware of, and have an excellent understanding of safeguarding children
Contract Details
Start Date: 16 November 2026, or as soon as possible.
Closing Date: 9 October 2026
Interview Date: Thursday 15 October 2026.
Contract Type: Permanent, Part-time for 5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Hours of work: 12.00pm - 13.00pm (term-time only).
Salary Details: Grade A – Actual Salary £2,892 (£25,025 Full Time Equivalent).
