Job Introduction
These posts afford the successful candidates the opportunity to work in the only special school federation in Hampshire. Our two schools, situated next door to each other, cater for the full age range and a wide breadth of needs, including moderate, severe and profound learning difficulties.
We are looking to appoint friendly, calm and enthusiastic people to join our existing dedicated team of supervisory assistants. The successful applicants will be working within a supportive, fun team and will be an important member of the school structure.
The successful applicants will need to become involved in the emotional and physical well-being of the pupils and be part of a team to help with; supervising the pupils in the hall and outside, encouraging positive play by leading playground games, assisting with clearing up spillages, all aspects of personal care and supporting children in the classroom before and after lunch.
