Job Introduction
We currently have a vacancy for a Midday Supervisory Assistant to join our friendly, hardworking and experienced lunchtime team. Our Midday Supervisors are required to work 11.50am to 1.10pm. This will initially be on a fixed term contract.
You will need to be a good time keeper, caring and confident when dealing with pupils, a good communicator and be able to work well in a team. As a Midday Supervisory Assistant, you will be asked to:
- Take part in professional development
- Supervise the children in the dining areas, playground or other parts of the school premises
- Ensure children are safe and secure
- Be a role model, promoting good conduct and behaviour
- Assist with associated duties (e.g. cleaning up spillages, ensuring tables are clean etc.)
- Provide welfare support to the pupils, including undertaking minor first aid duties (training will be provided)
- Encourage positive play by leading a range of playground games
