Job/Person Summary

We have a vacancy for a friendly person to join our team of dedicated and experienced lunchtime supervisory assistants as soon as possible.  Hours are 5 days a week, Monday to Friday 12 noon to 1.00pm, term time only, although part-time will be considered.

We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic person who would like to work as part of a valued support team, caring for and helping to supervise children during the lunch break.  We are keen to develop the children’s social skills.   We consider play an important part of children’s development so an enjoyment of playing games, plus patience and a sense of humour are essential.  No experience necessary as full training will be given.

The role involves:

  • working from 12 noon until 1pm
  • supervising and helping children whilst they eat their lunch
  • supervising with children outside on the playground or in classrooms if wet play
  • assisting with associated duties e.g. cleaning up spillages, ensuring tables are clean etc.
