Midday Supervisory Assistant (MDSA) Supervisor

Job Introduction

At Vigo Primary School we are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to lead our lunchtime supervisory team and to take a lead on developing play opportunities for all our pupils. 

We are looking for someone who:

  • Relates well to both children and adults and has excellent interpersonal skills
  • Is caring, calm and patient
  • Is able to work as a part of a team, learning with and from other colleagues
  • Enjoys working independently and with initiative
  • Sees the importance of play and the positive benefits it can have for children
  • takes responsibility for playground resources and will empower others to do the same
  • is flexible, proactive and resourceful
  • is not afriad to have difficult conversations with staff
  • Understands confidentiality and safeguarding procedures
  • Willing to undergo first aid training
