Working alongside our Site Manager, you will provide an effective site maintenance and minibus driving service across our large primary school. Morelands Primary School has 13 classes, including Resourced Provisions, and benefits from extensive grounds and facilities. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring our school remains a safe, secure and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors.
The role includes the afternoon transportation of children in the school's minibus and the daily security lock-up of the premises. Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous; however, full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Essential Requirements
- D1 on your driving licence
- Current MIDAS qualification (training can be given)
- Minimum of two years' driving experience
- Ability to undertake a range of site maintenance and DIY tasks
- Good understanding of Health and Safety requirements
- Reliable, trustworthy and able to work independently as well as within a team
Working Hours
- 15 hours per week
- Monday to Friday, 3.00pm to 6.00pm
- 39 weeks per year (term time only)
