Job Introduction
The Crescent Primary School is a large three-form entry school, located in the centre of Eastleigh. We run our own breakfast and after-school club called Shooting Stars and are looking to employ an Out of School Assistant for after-school club.
Working hours: 3.15pm - 4.30pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with flexibility to work additional hours if required.
We are looking for someone;
- With experience of working in a childcare setting
- Who has a positive, can-do attitude
- Who actively encourages play and engagement of all children
- Who has a positive approach to behaviour management
- Who promotes independence amongst children
- Who has good communication skills
- Who is able to use their initiative and think ahead
- Who understands what safeguarding means in the context of working in a school
