Job Introduction

Before and After School Club Leader

Monday to Friday (15.25 hours per week) 7:30 - 8:30am and 3:15pm-5.30pm but finishing at 4:30pm on a Friday 

We are looking to appoint an energetic, enthusiastic and fun-loving person for our thriving Before and After School Club. The successful candidate will be supervising a range of fun, safe and exciting activities; some relevant and recent experience of working with primary aged children is essential. As part of a small, rural community, we want to offer this position to someone who wants to engage fully in the life and vision of the school. 

As a Church of England primary school, our vision of ‘I have come so that you may have life, life in all its’ fullness’ (John 10:10) and our values of love, courage and fellowship are at the heart of everything we do. We want our children to have a childhood to remember and enjoy. Outdoor learning, Forest School and making the most of our wonderful rural surroundings are some of the enrichment opportunities that are part of our exciting curriculum. 

We are a small and happy team who want to do the best for each of our children, so home learning and reading are always the first activity to be completed during After School club. Other than that, creativity, fun and relaxation are what is needed at the end of the school day. Our children are exceptionally well behaved, have wonderful manners and love learning new things. 

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who would like to work in a smaller, rural school with a wonderful, supportive community and governing body.
