Job Introduction
We are looking to appoint a conscientious, enthusiastic, skilled and creative Part Time Learning Support Assistant to work at our friendly, caring and successful school. Responsibilities will include supporting children in either KS1 or KS2 playing a positive role in both their pastoral and academic development as well as partaking in some early morning intervention group teaching and lunchtime cover.
Experience of working with children previously is essential. You will be well supported with regards to induction and in-school training will be provided so that you can develop your skills further.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate that they:
- Committed to supporting individual children's social, moral, emotional and academic well-being
- Are patient, cheerful and understanding
- Can work under direction of the class teacher and under their own initiative.
- Have energy, enthusiasm and the ability to be flexible
- Are able to play effectively and form strong relationships with children
- Have a firm belief in inclusion and have an intuitive response to our children’s needs
- Are patient, empathetic and consistent
- Passionate about providing rich educational experiences
