Job Introduction
An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint an enthusiastic play worker for our Treetops breakfast and after school club provision, to join our friendly and hardworking team. Treetops caters for children aged between 4 years and 7 years old. It is an extended provision of North Baddesley Infant School.
The successful candidate will work in partnership with the Treetops leader and team.
Experience is preferable but not essential. We are keen to appoint someone who enjoys leading play based activities and would like to learn with us and develop professionally. ‘Growing together, learning for life’.
We are looking for someone who will:
- Use initiative and work independently
- Be able to pull on a repertoire of games and activities for children aged 4-7 years
- Have energy, enthusiasm and the ability to be flexible
- Understand the importance of growth mindset and resilience
- Be prepared to go ‘the extra mile’ for our most vulnerable pupils
- Have an interest in developing their pedagogical understanding
