Positive Behaviour Practitioner - Fixed Term until August 2027

Job Introduction

Are you passionate about supporting children and young people to thrive emotionally, socially, and academically? We are seeking a dedicated Positive Behaviour Assistant to join our team and help create a nurturing, inclusive environment where every student feels safe, supported, and empowered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in managing their behaviour positively and constructively.
  • Work closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and families to implement behaviour support strategies.
  • Use the THRIVE approach to promote emotional wellbeing and resilience (training preferred but not essential).
  • Deliver targeted interventions and support plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Monitor progress and contribute to reviews and reports.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children or young people in an educational or care setting.
  • Understanding of behaviour management strategies and emotional development.
  • THRIVE training or a willingness to undertake training.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A calm, empathetic, and proactive approach.
