The Role:
You will work closely with our team to create a caring, engaging, and enriching environment for our 2, 3 and 4 year-old children. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting children’s learning and development through purposeful play, exploration, and adult-led activities.
- Encouraging social skills, independence, and confidence in young learners.
- Helping to establish clear routines that create a calm and supportive environment.
- Planning and delivering activities that promote the EYFS curriculum, in collaboration with the EYFS lead.
- Observing, recording, and contributing to the assessment of children's progress.
- Supporting children with additional needs where required.
- Assisting with personal care and ensuring children’s well-being at all times.

- Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ childcare qualified
- English and Maths GCSE Grade 4 or equivalent
This is a temporary, full time role, 8.15am – 4pm, term time only until 31st August
This includes all days children are in school plus five INSET days. There is also a possibility of additional hours with breakfast club from 7.45.
The salary is Scale C (£24,405 – £25,430) pro-rata to £20,875 - £21,752.
