Job/Person Summary
At Fordingbridge Federation we pride ourselves on supporting our children through their learning journey in preparation for a wealth of life experiences; we have an exciting opportunity for someone to work as a Receptionist including lunchtime support at our Federation. The successful candidate will be the first point of call meeting and greeting our parents/carers, visitors, staff and of course our wonderful children. The candidate will work alongside our school Senior Admin/Finance Officer and our Admin Assistant and will be an integral part of our successful Federation.
You will have:
- Good communication skills (oral and written) enabling you to communicate calmly and effectively in a warm, positive and professional manner at all times.
- Excellent administration and organisational skills.
- Recent and relevant experience of working in an office environment
- Good computer skills.
- Excellent time management skills and be able to work under pressure with interruptions.
- High level of confidentiality and Safeguarding knowledge (safeguarding training will be provided).
- Ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines and work using your own initiative.
- Willingness to be trained in First Aid/Administering Medicines.

Contract Hours and Salary details
Fixed Term contract ending 31st August 2026
Support Staff B, FTE £24,027
Pro Rata actual pay per annum £12,181 (22.5 hours per week)
