Job Introduction
Lakeside School is an Outstanding day and residential special School for 97 boys aged between 10 and 16 with a range of needs, including challenging behaviour. Are you a positive, energetic, resilient and patient person looking to make a real difference to the education of our pupils?
We are looking to recruit a Residential Child Care Worker to work 4 evenings per week. Monday to Thursday. Hours to be agreed between 1pm and 10pm with up to 2 possible sleep in sessions (11pm-9am) per week.
Working as part of a team you will provide care and support for up to 23 boys.
A Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People, or equivalent would be desirable or a willingness to study for a similar qualification.
The successful candidate will join a dynamic and supportive team focused on pupil progress and will have access to excellent training and development opportunities.
